Dear Colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to our session “The Structure and Evolution of Coronal Mass Ejections in the Heliosphere” at the Triennial Earth-Sun Summit (TESS) meeting, taking place in Dallas, TX, between 7th – 12th April 2024.
Our session aims to present the significant progress in understanding the individual and complex nature of CMEs as they evolve and interact with the interplanetary medium, through the use of multi-point observations. We therefore invite contributions that take advantage of the wealth of observational data currently available, through multi-spacecraft studies or modeling efforts, as well as mission concepts and studies highlighting the observational and knowledge gaps that still need addressing.
The location of TESS2024 provides a fantastic opportunity to view the upcoming solar eclipse along the path of totality. For accommodation, AGU are currently setting up an additional hotel block, information for which will be posted at https://www.agu.org/tess2024/ when available.
Further details about our session can be found at: https://agu.confex.com/agu/TESS24/prelim.cgi/Session/196453. The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, 11 October 2023, 23:59 EDT/03:59 +1 GMT.
We look forward to your submissions,
– Emma Davies (Austrian Space Weather Office, GeoSphere Austria)
– Ravindra Desai (University of Warwick)
– Erika Palmerio (Predictive Science Inc.)
– Andreas Weiss (Heliophysics Science Division, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center)
